Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of India to use BidaDate. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Description of service

BidaDate is a platform that allows members to create a public profile and pay ("bid") to increase their ranking position on public leaderboards, organized by district, state, and country, visible to other members based on gender and mutual preference matching. Higher rank increases visibility to other members; it does not guarantee any match, message, response, or outcome of any kind.

BidaDate is not a matchmaking, escort, or introduction service, and we make no representations about the identity, intentions, relationship status, or background of any member.

3. Account registration

• You must register using a valid email address and complete the onboarding profile (name, age, gender, preference, location, and at least one photo) before you can use core features of the Platform.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access to your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated.

4. Bidding and payments

• Bid amounts are paid through our third-party payment processor, currently Razorpay. We do not directly store your full payment card or bank details.
• All bids are processed in Indian Rupees (₹).
• A bid, once successfully processed, determines your position on the relevant leaderboard(s) at the time of payment. Your position may subsequently change as other members place higher bids.
• Bid amounts are generally non-refundable once processed, except as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• We reserve the right to set, and to change without notice, minimum bid amounts, bid increment requirements, and any fees associated with bidding.

5. User content

• You retain ownership of the photos, bio text, and other content you upload ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant BidaDate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service (e.g., showing your profile to other members on leaderboards and profile pages).
• You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the right to post it and that it does not violate any third party's rights or applicable law.
• We may remove any User Content that violates our Community Rules or these Terms, at our discretion, without notice.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your age, identity, or intentions.
• Use bots, scripts, multiple accounts, or fraudulent payment methods to manipulate rankings.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other members.
• Upload content that is sexually explicit, involves minors in any way, promotes violence, or is otherwise unlawful.
• Attempt to access another user's account, scrape the Platform, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Use the Platform for any commercial solicitation not expressly permitted.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund of any amounts paid.

7. Platform availability and project status

BidaDate is operated as a time-limited project and may be modified, suspended, or permanently discontinued at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. In the event the Platform is discontinued:

• We will make reasonable efforts to notify active users in advance where practical.
• Amounts already paid for bids are not refundable solely due to discontinuation, except as required by applicable law or as set out in our Refund Policy.
• Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including with respect to deletion upon shutdown.

8. Disclaimers

• BidaDate is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted/error-free operation.
• We do not verify the identity, background, criminal history, or intentions of any member. You interact with, meet, and communicate with other members entirely at your own risk.
• We are not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any member.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BidaDate and its operator(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Platform, including any interactions with other members. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or our Community Rules, without prior notice and without refund of amounts already paid.

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy for how to do this).

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
